Beach time is in sight again and I have to tell you about our time in the Venice beach area of Jesolo when we stayed at the very chic and cool J44 Lifestyle Hotel. The Hotel is classed as 5-star and so comes with the amenities and facilities. Location wise is perfect – as it has access to the beach as well as being right on a road with a lot of shops and restaurants to fill the evening.

Arrival and Check-In to J44
It was at the end of beach season in Autumn when we visited and it was a quiet Jesolo we drove into when we arrived. In the summer time at the height of beach season , the place is usually packed with regulars and locals. We had no problems finding the Hotel as it was by the road. We stopped at the Reception and I went in to enquire about the parking.
Almost immediately a staff came to help us unload our luggage and guided us to the underground carpark. We had our electric car with us and was delighted to be able to charge while parking there. After clarification about the charging we went back up to Reception, the staff were friendly and chatty and explained about the hotel facilities. We were impressed by how many languages they spoke.
Soon we were on the elevator heading to our room which was on the top floor.
J44 Hotel Room
We opened the door to a spacious room of 28 sqm with pleasing warm colours. This superior double room has a comfortable bed with complimentary chocolates. There is a pillow menu providing a nice option. Opposite the bed is a desk with a 55″ flat-screen TV with pay-per-view and streaming service which we used in the evening to watch Netflix. Equipped as well with Bluetooth to stream playlists to the in-room audio systems.
The coffee and tea making facilities were high quality. Bottles of water were also provided for the preparation. The mini bar contained drinks with a QR code to be scanned for the prices. The room has a safe deposit box.
The air flow and temperature was pleasant throughout our stay. The attached bathroom is big with a separate toilet and bidet. The shower area has strong water pressure. It comes with branded toiletries for showering and soap for washing.
The room has full-sized windows letting in natural light and opens up to a nice balcony. The balcony has a table with chairs and a glass railing. Our room has a view towards the city. Below is a night photo with the city lighted up.

J44 Hotel Facilities
J44 has some of the best facilities that I definitely enjoyed using. We were there to enjoy the last beach days of the year.
Beach Chair and Umbrella at J44 Private Beach
The beach facilities included Beach Chair and umbrella. In the room there was a beach bag provided which I find was a thoughtful touch. We used it to bring our towels and books to the beach.
Gym & Spa of J44
The hotel is equipped with a small gym for hardcore holiday makers who do not want to miss gym days. There is also a bookable spa with a Finnish Sauna, a Himalayan salt wall, Jacuzzi, Kneipp path in addition to a menu of massage and spa services.
Bikes for Leisure provided by J44
We were pleasantly surprised to find out that guests could borrow one of the bikes to cycle around. The staff assisted in adjusting the bike for Rainer. Guests in higher room classes could also borrow the e-bike or scooter.
Underground Parking + e-Car Charging Station
We were there with the electric Car and it was very easy to charge at the charging station in the underground parking. Very nice to know that the car is protected in the parking too.
Coffee Corner at Lobby of J44 Hotel
Just one of my favourite spots in the Hotel is the corner of the Lobby where there is complimentary good coffee. There is bottled water as well. We even tried the complimentary ice-cream with the gelato maker.
Tacco 11 American Bar - Rooftop Bar of J44
If you are looking for atmosphere, the rooftop bar of the J44 checks the box. Unfortunately I did not get to try the food there. In the evenings the view of the lighted city is amazing.
There is a menu of interesting cocktail to choose from. The panoramic terrace by the pool has comfortable sofas to sip cocktails from.
Rooftop Pool
We tried the rooftop pool which was not very big but the jets were nice for some underwater massage. The pool is also lighted up at night which contributes to the whole ambience of the rooftop bar- a cool pool if you ask me.
JOLÀ Emotional Cuisine
The next morning we went down for breakfast at the restaurant and were treated to an amazing experience. The food spread was enormous and varied and very tasty. The service was impeccable as well in line with being a fine-dining restaurant. We ordered cappuccino and as you can order eggs to be cooked to your liking, I ordered French Toast – something I can completely recommend.
The Verdict on J44 Lifestyle Hotel Jesolo
I have to say that this 5-star stay at this particular beach hotel was an experience. Usually I am stoked about a few aspects but in this case, J44 impressed with its modern amenities and especially its thoughtfulness to the guests made it a stand-out hotel for me.
My favourites were the electric car charging in the underground carpark, the beach chair and umbrella with a beach bag along with it, the cozy coffee corner with complimentary coffee, water and ice-cream, the pool and pool side at the roof top, everything about the cozy room with a balcony, the Hotel welcomes pets too, location is a big one – a few steps away is the beach and right by the doorstep is the happening street with plenty of shops and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants – you can have breakfast till noon! Last but not least the helpful and friendly staff made it an outstanding stay.

Whilst I have been to Venice many times, I never made it to the Lido. The J44 hotel looks amazing, with such a great location on the beach. The room is so spacious, compared the the tiny ones which you can find in Venice. I like that it’s quite airy and modern decorated. Breakfast looks exceptional as well.
We have not been to the beach area in Jesalo. But the 5 star J44 Lifestyle Hotel looks like a great option when we make it there. Great to know you can charge an electric car there. Not always easy for hotel stays. I love that the stay included a beach chair and umbrella. And a rooftop pool too!
J44 Hotels sounds like a great choice in Jesolo! I like that it has a private beach and you can put towels and other belongings into the bag provided in the hotel room. The rooftop pool looks so good. I think you must swim there in the evening when you spend a night at J44. I would like to stay at J44 when I am in Jesolo.
The array of amenities like the gym and spa with jacuzzi sounds fantastic. The incredible rooftop bar area seems like the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. The breakfast spread, especially those mouth-watering French toasts, looks divine.
I like the look of J44 Lifestyle Hotel. It is interesting they provide bikes and scooters for visitors. That would be so convenient. The location of the hotel next to the beach is great for views, relaxation and walks and dips. The breakfast spread looks grand. I like the concept of rooftop pools.
Your room looks nice and adequate. Love that they have a nespresso/ coffee machine which is a big plus for me. It’s also cool that they have a lot of facilities/ activities available. I just wish that the ebikes/ scooters are available across all hotel guests. Anyway, happy to know that you enjoyed your stay. We will definitely consider them during our future trips.
The J44 hotel in Jesolo looks like a dream. A great rooftop bar and an amazing pool are something I am looking for in hotels. Nice that they also do ebikes and scooters. You had a great stay there!
