Getting there (In One Piece..):<\/strong><\/p>\n

Strangely what I remember most is the harrowing drive on the narrow mountain roads between the mountain and the cliff , and big buses whizzing past without a care in the world. You feel a lot like closing your hands over your eyes while driving.<\/p>\n

Luckily there is also the SITA buses\u00a0www.sitabus.it <\/em>that will get you there. I normally travel off season but it you are there in the summer months they even limit the traffic , making it a nightmare to drive – so do yourself and pollution a favour and take the bus , or the train(Stop at Vietri sul Mare<\/em>), or the ferries \/ Hydrofoil that sails from Naples or Sorrento, also Capri.<\/p>\n

Seeing Amalfi:<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the car in tow, it posed a challenge to stop at the picturesque villages we drove past. Finding parking places were both difficult and expensive. At certain spots it was not even possible to park on your own, and you have to hand the keys of your beloved Porsche or Ferrari to the park garage. It made me super nervous and worried about the car condition all the while.<\/p>\n

But what I did see was really worth going for:<\/p>\n

Ravello:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A hilltop town with some people touting it as having the best view of the Coast. I respectfully beg to disagree, as it is fairly difficult to have a bad view around the Coast! Having said that, it is a nice town to start with.<\/p>\n

There are also terraces full of\u00a0 olive trees, limes, grapes and bougainvilleas\u00a0 that all merge to produce a fragrance unique to the Mediterranean regions.<\/p>\n

Along the Amalfi Coast:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

As mentioned, driving here is not to be taken lightly – you have to focus , people! especially in the summertime , when it is overwhelming tourist season.<\/p>\n

\"20160909_124645\"There are lots of small towns to stop in along the way. I was on a day trip to get a sense of Amalfi – although we were there off-peak season, there is a sense of being touristy in the air.<\/p>\n
