I chose a Hotel which is around the corner from a Metro station as well as within walking distances to some sights. So of course these were the 2 main methods we used to get to the places we ended up visiting.\u00a0<\/p><p>Let&#8217;s first talk about the options available :\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Covered by the Day Pass<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p><ul data-path-to-node=\"5\"><li><p data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\"><b><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f687.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude87\" \/> Metro Lines:<\/b> All standard underground metro lines (e.g., Line 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, and the Loop Line).<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\"><b><span class=\"citation-130\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f69d.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude9d\" \/> Monorail Lines:<\/span><\/b><span class=\"citation-130 citation-end-130\"> All light rail lines, including the famous elevated monorail lines (Line 2 and Line 3) that navigate the mountains and pass through buildings.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Not covered by Day Pass<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul data-path-to-node=\"8\"><li><p data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\"><b>\ud83d\ude8c Buses:<\/b> The day pass is <b>not valid<\/b> for unlimited travel on public city buses. However when we checked with the metro station ticket counters, there was none. It apparently is no longer valid in December 2025.
