There are so many Hotel choices in Vienna . It was not easy to decide which to stay in – we only had a short overnight stay. So I wanted to be as close as possible to the interesting places to visit as well as easy access to restaurants. Arthotel ANA seems to be a chain of hotels but each with its own theme. The one I chose in the end was the Amadeus.

Arrival and Check-In to ArtHotel ANA Amadeus
Days before I already received a welcome email from the Amadeus Hotel with information on the covid handling situation as well as some Vienna guides. A very good start!
I wrote back regarding some general requests for the room and was efficiently handled by Lilla the Resident Manager.
When we arrived the whole check-in process was managed smoothly by Lilla personally. I highly appreciated how fast we were able to get to the room as we had a very short trip and I wanted to be on the way to see Vienna.
Arthotel ANA Amadeus Hotel Room
As soon as we entered the room a comfortable cooling air waited. It was god-sent on this very hot summer day in Vienna.
I was pleased to see that the room was as pictured on the websites. This is not always the case.
Spacious with modern earthy tones I immediately felt comfortable. I especially found the keyboard headboard very fitting to the hotel.
The beds were firm and very nice to get a good night’s rest after a hectic day.
The closets were big and spacious with a safe inside. Extra pillows too.
The room had a mini-bar inside with the prices. It also had a complimentary coffee making facilities which was highly appreciated and a nice sitting area for enjoying the coffee.
We also appreciated the flat screen TV as there was the European Football Championships at the moment.
Arthotel ANA Amadeus Hotel Facilities
The Hotel does not have a pool or gym.
It offers a breakfast spread in the mornings , it had an extra charge and we did not take it.
As with most city hotels , Parking is not provided but there are options nearby in a parking garage. We chose to park at a park and ride garage 30 minutes away on foot but convenient when taking the public transport.
We did use the complimentary baggage storage service after check out.
The Verdict on Arthotel ANA Amadeus
The AMADEUS checked all my requirements for our very short stay. If you follow my blog , you will know that one of my top criteria is location.
It is located on a less busy street and yet very central. In 3 minutes walking, we arrive at Stephansplatz where the Underground connections are. In 2-minutes walking time from the Hotel are the bus connections at Hoher Markt.
Many , many eateries including our favourites Restaurant Ebi and the Boba shop Teeamo Wien in walking distance.
The staff were friendly and accomodating which is very important and the room was a perfect retreat after a tiring sightseeing day. Most of all the price is reasonable and I highly recommend staying here for all these reasons!
